We all benefit a lot from even the smallest bits of chocolate. Its utility is the stuff of greatness. It takes your mood from rock bottom on a terrible day to the greatest feeling of contentment in just a simple, single bite. Stress melts off of your mind like the chocolate melts in your hands. We owe this to chocolate releasing endorphins and serotonins from our brain, both chemicals that make us feel happy. Chocolate makes you feel elated and content.
However, there is always a flip side to the coin. Chocolate can be linked to the bad as easily as it can be linked to good. You know what people say, “Too much of a good thing is bad”. Chocolate causes addiction and even dependence for some people, much like a drug almost. When people get addicted, they eat too much and this causes them to gain a lot of excess fat, resulting in overweight people and quite often obesity. Obesity is nothing to take lightly. Obesity has claimed many victims. Obesity ruins lives.
What is life without a little enjoyment? Would you rather succumb to painful sorrow or alleviate your sorrow and replace it with sensations of sheer pleasure? Chocolate makes life so sweet. Chocolate is the essential indulgence for every stressed student, every overworked employee, every stay at home parent with their hands full due to managing the house and every hopeless romantic. If one hates chocolate they must have a very bitter and sour personality. To conclude, I would like to state that those who don’t eat chocolate are truly missing out. It’s a wonderful world out there. Life seems so much brighter when you have a bar of chocolate in hand.
