Dear Thomas:
Good Afternoon Mr. Thomas, I am Gamma from the Utahloy International School, it is located in right two blocks away from your new factory. The reason why I am writing a letter to you is because I concerned about the harmful pollutions that your factory is making
Since your Nike factory located near our school, our student’s health rapidly declined. It is because your factory is producing too much pollutants, such like polluting the air and contaminating the water. The lake in front of our school was full of fish, but now it is rare to see a fish swims because of the pollution level of water. The lake turned into black, and most of the fish have died from contamination. Furthermore, the rate of air pollution has rapidly increase since your factory has opened. The pollution that you are making is unimaginably harming us and the environment.
I considered some possible solutions for this situation.
First, go and find the government official who is in charge of environmental problems for factory. Since you are a new foreign to Guangzhou, maybe there are some laws are totally different from your previous working place, it is better to check whether you are making a serious mistake that might cause more environmental problems.
Second, do not make too much chemical product. I understand your factory is a factory that makes shoes which requires to make a lots of plastic components, but you should restrict the quantity that you are making and using the chemical product. It is not only the problem of your factory, it is a global issue that should be concern. It is a serious problem because the chemical products are the fundamental factors of contamination and pollution. Furthermore, you should never throw the chemical product into river, and you follow the government ways to get rid of chemical by-products.
I hope by reading my letter, you can understand how much I think about the environment as a student, and how seriously you are harming the environment. I hope your factory can stop polluting the environment as soon as possible.
