Dear Nick’s parents,
This is Phillip Nicaud, homeroom teacher of your son, Nick. The purpose of this letter is to let you know about the problems of his father’s behavior.
Yesterday, I’ve asked Nick about the things he have done during this weekend, and heard about the story about you and Nick. But I, as a teacher, think that what you’ve done is not appropriate for the education of your young son and also causes some ethical problems.
I heard from Nick that he followed his father and went to the Indian camp. This was completely reasonable and acceptable, but after that, what his father did was showing inappropriate behavior while you are helping the Indian’s delivery and after the surgery. What Nick said to me was his father just had a reaction just as he win a match in a football game. This behavior is totally unacceptable. He should stop showing such behavior not only just in front of his child, but also when he is working with others. Pregnancy and delivery should be considered and treated as a noble and honorable act. Nobody should belittle the value of it. If his father keeps showing such behavior, I assume that it would also not help Nick to establish a proper values toward his future life.
Also, even though Nick didn’t said about it directly, but by the intuition, I have noticed about the relationship between the pregnant Indian woman and his uncle. If the delivery is really the consequences of his uncle’s inappropriate behavior, then Nick’s father should have to bear that in his mind and act towards it more carefully.
Therefore, I, be as a Nick’s teacher, think such acts that his father has shown toward Nick in this weekend would seriously shake Nick’s moral value, and therefore asks to stop those things to happen again for Nick’ sake.
Yours sincerely,
PhillipNicaud
